HQCD Jewelries

Hello! I haven't updated my blog for a long time due to school. School have been stressing. >.< Anyways, I got a necklace and earrings set from Lisa, owner of He Qi Crystal Design a couple of weeks ago. I finally get to post about them! They're called the Angelic Necklace and Earrings. They're a really lovely piece. Very simple and gorgeous! They match a lot of my clothing since most of my clothings are either white, grey, or black. I know, very plain and I need some color in my life. I gotten a lot of comments on campus when I'm wearing them. ^^ So they're a really lovely piece. I also ordered some other earrings but they were for my sister so I didn't take pictures of them or model it. Here are model pictures of them. ^^
A picture of both of them.

I also cut and thin out my hair a couple of weeks ago too. I really like how it turn out and since I haven't had straight hair for a year, it's definitely a new look. Here's a picture of the haircut.
I really like the haircut and my bangs turned out nice too. ^^
That's all for now, good night everyone. :)

Juicy Couture & Urban Decay Naked Palette

Hi! Today I went to Stanford Shopping Center and to my surprise, Juicy Couture was having a sale!! All purses or wallets with the word Juicy written on it have 30% off! I was really surprise because if the sale person did not tell me that, I would have just browse around and walk out.  I did happen to see a purse that I really liked and when I heard it was 30% off, I just had to get it since it was a pretty good deal. I also got a matching wallet with it since the wallet was also 30% off. The purse was $178 and the wallet was $78 so a total of $256 without the 30% off, not mentioning adding tax to it. So with the 30% off and adding tax to it, it came up to $190ish, I saved almost $100. WOOT!! ^.^ Okay, here's a couple of pictures I took. ;)
This is my first time getting a purse in brown, so definitely adding some color to my collection besides black.
A close up of the purse, I really like the charm it came with. It's really sparkly and pretty. :)
The wallet, I really love the rhinestones on the wallet but I'm also afraid it might come out. I gotta be extra careful with it when I'm using it.
I also keep forgetting to post this, but I finally got my UD Naked Palette! I've been dying to get my hand on this! I think palette is still very hard to get, but luckily this palette is here to stay and not limited like the Alice in Wonderland one (which I didn't get a chance to get and now I can't get it anymore. T.T). Anyways, I really love this palette and I also tend to be more on the neutral side for my everyday makeup, this palette is just perfect. It got all the great neutral colors and also a couple of dark ones which can be use for a more smokey look when I'm feeling it. It's really great for traveling since it comes with eyeliners and the primer potion. It will definitely save me some space when I'm traveling around. :)
I didn't do swatches but they are really pigmented and very shimmery too. I would definitely recommend people getting this especially for people who travel a lot. ;D

HQCD Jewelries and Make Up

Hi!! I wanted to update about some jewelries and make up I got from Lisa, owner of He Qi Crystal Design. I got two pairs of earrings and a necklace from her. Lisa is truely an amazing jewelry artisan and I've been purchasing her stuff since 2007. She's definitely my favorite person to get jewelry from. Awhile ago, she started making the Super Nova Necklace and I must say they are to die for. They're made from swarovski crystals and definitely gorgeous. I immediately bought myself one and was wondering if she'll make earrings with them, and guess what, she did! ^^ I had to get myself a pair of these lovely earrings. I must say these are really gorgeous and very classic. They're perfect for weddings, parties and also everyday wear. Here are a couple of pictures of the earring.
Super Nova Earring and Simple Bow Necklace.
A close up of the earring. Isn't it gorgeous?
Another pair of earring I got is the feather earring which was made for Jen from frmheadtotoe. This earring is really popular and I myself like feathery stuff, so this pair was a must get also. It's really pretty and elegant, even my guy friend complimented on them saying they were beautiful and I was shock since most guy doesn't really notice these things on a girl, but I guess it just show how attractive these earring are. ^^ I sure a lot of people have seen these earrings on Jen, but here are a couple of my take on the earring.
They definitely stand out when you're wearing them. ^^
A close up.
The last piece of jewelry I got was the Simple Bow Necklace which is seen above in the pictures. This necklace is very simple and pretty. I've been wearing it practically everyday since it goes with everything.

A more close up of the necklace. It's simply pretty. :)
Recently, Lisa also started making her own beauty products and also her own makeup line. I got a mineral blush and eyeshadow from her. To my surprise, they are highly pigmented. I can even say they beat some of my makeup I have. When I first tried the blush on, without realizing how pigmented they are, I basically just pick up the fall out of the mineral blush and put it on my cheeks. It was definitely a wrong idea, as soon as I just put it on my cheek, the color was really dark. I had to take a napkin and wipe some of it off. They were really pigmented and I didnt' really use much either. Usually if you have a mineral blush and you tap some on the cap, that amount is usually good enough. But for Lisa's blush, I only took the fall out part on top of the seal and it was too much for one side of the cheek, which shows how pigmented they are. Her eyeshadow is also really pigmented, I got the Apricot color which is a light peachy golden color and it shows up really well, and I think they're as good as some high branded eyeshadows. I would definitely recommend her makeup line, they're inexpensive and made with great qualities.
Here are the swatches. Sorry about the lighting, it was night time when I took it, so the lighting is a little off since I'm standing next to a lamp.
The packaging is really cute. All made by Lisa. ^^
To see more of Lisa's stuff, please visit HQCD Online Store and visit her blog at http://hqcdblog.blogspot.com/ for updates and giveaways. Tomorrow is her birthday so HAPPY BIRTHDAY LISA!!! ;D

Rock and Republic Pressed Blush

Hello! I have a review today on Rock and Republic Pressed Blush. I bought two of them, one is called Kinky and the other one is Tease. I got both of them for 50% off plus $.99 shipping on their website, which was a big bargain! They still have the $.99 shipping going on their website and you can use the coupon code ROCKCOSMETICS to get 50% off. I just tested out the code to see if it still works, and it does! I must say I love their packaging! It's really pretty and sophisticated, not to mention, they're really pigmented. One brush stroke is enough for me to last the whole day. It definitely beats my NARS blush. For the NARS blush, I would need to apply several strokes in order for the color to appear on my cheeks. Kinky is a bright pink color while Tease is a slightly pinkish purple color. I also wanted to get one called Call Me but they didn't have it and I can't seem to find it anywhere. Hopefully they'll stock up soon. Okay, here are some pictures.

I really like the box it came in.
Love the blush packaging and their Logo!
Tease is on the left and Kinky is on the right.

My swatches. See how pigmented they are.
That's all for now. I'm waiting for my Urban Decay Naked palette, so I will update on that once it comes. ^^

Hong Kong Trip

Hello! I'm back from my Hong Kong trip. ^^ This summer trip sure went by quickly! Hong Kong was really hot!! I felt like I was dying on the first day. It was so humid and sticky!!! It got better as the week went on because there were typhoons, so it rained a lot. T.T It rained practically half of the trip I was there, so my friend and I ended up at the mall most of the time. Which meant my friend and I bought a lot of things, but most of them were souvenirs. We didn't really get to go to a lot of places because of the rain, but it was still fun. The two places that I went was Ocean Park and The Peak. I got so many mosquitoes bite from Ocean Park. It became swollen and I couldn't wear shorts for the rest of the trip. The Peak city view was so pretty! I really love the night view of Hong Kong. It was beautiful! The food in Hong Kong was so good and cheap!! Even the fast food there tastes better! I also cut my really long hair. I miss my long hair now. >.< Besides the rain, the trip was fun! Okay, pictures time!
Got all of these for 99HKD. So cheap!! My friends and I couldn't finish it.
The front gate of Ocean Park. ^^
The view from Ocean Park.
Hehe, we're surfing!!
Look at those roller coasters!
Got my hair cut! My hairstylist remembered me from last year. Which was so surprising since it has been a year ago. He curled my hair for me. :P
Time Square in HK. Look at all those floors. My feet hurted from all those walking.
At The Peak of HK! I really love the night view! It's so pretty!
My very expensive dinner at The Peak.
My friends and I got all of these lovely sweets on our last day in HK.
Hong Kong had Skinfood!! I was so happy! I bought some for my sisters.
Masks that I got for free since I bought a lot of things! ^^ Woot! I love free things!
The three bottles that look like sake bottles was for my sister. They were for pores. The other two are mines. One is a night mask that you were at night, kinda similar to a moisturizer. The green bottle one is also a mask but you wash this one off.
These are scrubbing mask. I got this for my sisters as well. ^^

Hana SPC Hyper Circle Lenses

Hello! I'm finally updating with a review about the Hana SPC Hyper Circle Lenses in Grey. I got them at CandyLens and they are 14.5mm big. These are my very first pair of Cirlce Lenses and also my first time wearing contacts. I do not need to wear contacts in real life so it took me awhile to decide to get circle lenses or not. I finally did! I'm so glad I did because they definitely enlarge my eyes! ^^ I have monolids, so my eyes tends to look smaller. I did a lot of research before deciding what brand to get. I ended up getting Hana because many people say they are extremely comfortable. I agree with what I read online, these circle lenses are comfortable. Especially for first time contacts wearer, I do not really know what's the difference between regular contacts and circle lenses are suppose to feel like. Just to let you guys know, I couldn't put them on when I tried to. >.< Being that it's my first time putting something in my eyes, I couldn't get them in. My eyes would keep blinking. My sister got frustrated and said she will put in on for me. Sadly, she couldn't either. >.< I know, epic FAILED. I gave up and decided to try it next time. The next day, after 30 minutes of struggling, I finally got one of it in! LOL! What was surprising is that when I put the other one in my left eye, it didn't take that long. For some reason, I can easily pop in the contact in my left eye but I struggle with my right eye. I don't know why though. For the first day, I only wore them for 4 hours because I wasn't used to it and I felt them. The next day, I actually wore them for 10 hours without realizing. I guess I got used to it and I didn't feel them anymore. My eyes didn't feel dry and I didn't have to use eye drop. I'm very satisfied with these lenses because they are really comfortable and you can wear it for over 10 hours without having to use eye drops. I would recommend them to people, especially for first time people who wants to try circle lenses. Oh, I almost forgot, I also got these really cute contact cases with my contacts. It comes with every order. I also like how they package the contacts. They put them in a cute jewelry box. When I first got them, I was thinking when did I order jewelry. LOL.

Here's a couple pictures of how they look on me. ^^

HQCD Jewelries

Hi! Today I want to talk about a couple of earrings I got from HQCD. As I mention before, I love jewelries, especially earrings. HQCD is my favorite jewerly supplier. More than half of my jewelries are from her. I really love her design and all her jewelries are high qualitiy and made really well. As always, Lisa's packaging is really good. She mailed them in a bubble wrap envelope and she puts the earrings in a really cute box with a bow. One thing I love about Lisa is that she always include freebies for her buyer. From beauty items to little sweet treats as you can see here in the picture. =]

The first pair of earring I want to talk about is her Ribbon Hoop Earring. The first time I saw these earrings, they were in gold, I'm more of a silver girl so I thought I should wait to see if she would have these cute ribbon hoops in silver. She finally did, so I had to get them. ^^ The earring comes with Violet AB Swarovski Hearts with pearls and bicones. I really love these earrings because they are extremely adorable. ^.^ Here are some model pictures of the earrings.
A close up of the Ribbon Hoop Earrings. ^^

The second pair of earring I want to talk about is the Butterfly Dreamin' in Silver and Aqua AB. I really like these earrings because they are perfect for the spring time. I really love butterflies so these earrings definitely reminds me of spring. Lisa also have these in gold for those of you who are gold lovers. I really love the Aqua AB swarovski hearts. They're so pretty! Here are some model pictures of them.

That's all for now, I will have an update soon with Hana SPC Hyper Circle Lenses. =]

BB Cream and New Puppy!!! =]

Hi! I finally get to update. School has been taking up all my time. ><

Ok, I'm going to talk about Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream that I got a couple of weeks ago. I got the shade #21, and it fits my skin perfectly. It definitely makes my skin looking whiter and smoother!! I'm in love with this bb cream as of now. I read in some reviews and some people said it makes them break out. Luckily, I don't break out from it. So make sure you know your skin type before you try it. Here's a picture.

My skin looks so white and smooth! =] Excuse my messy bangs. LOL.

I also got a Deluxe Sampler for signing up as a new member at Missha. What a bonus! It includes the Perfect Cover BB Cream, the BB Boomer, luminous lipgloss, cover deep cleansing oil, and super aqua detoxifying peeling gel. I'm really happy with the mini size BB Cream, since I can bring it anywhere. It's a great travel size.

I also want to talk about my NEW PUPPY!!!!! OMG, she's so cute! My dad got her on Chinese New Year. My mom named her Hei Hei (pronounce as Hay Hay). She's sleeping right beside me right now. =] I already have a 2 years old dog (male) and my dad really wants to breed him, btw, our dogs are Pomeranian. Hei Hei is currently 3 months old and she loves to sleep. She basically sleeps the whole day but then again she is a puppy. Her teeth are growing in so she's gnawing on everything she sees. She's really cute especially when she walks, well more like hopping. LOL. She hops instead of walking but she's starting to walk a little bit now. She just got her first shots today and I don't think she really like it. Pictures time. =]
Isn't she the cutest thing? =]
This is a picture of me and her. Also, I'm not wearing any makeup in this pic, so you can do the comparison from the picture above.
